The cake with a spit of Sia was commercialized since 1982 but the making of it exists already since several generations. The tradition wants it to be present during big festivities such as baptisms and marriages.

The unique character of the cake with a spit of Sia comes from:
  • its cooking with real fire
  • its house made perfume (compote of candied fruit)
  • its method of making (essential) : adding of the pastry with a spoon and not with a soup ladle or a machine
  • the smoke of the lime tree wood and the pastry consumed bit by bit under the cake

It is very creamy and has a unique perfume. It 's commercialised under 3 forms (500gr, 1Kg, 2kg). It can be eaten fresh or stale, warm or cold, alone or accompanied. It can be kept for about a month, kept away of gourmets of course.
