After Luz-Saint-Sauveur, on the road to the famous cirque de Gavarnie, cross the small village of Gèdre, and turn right taking the Saussa direction towards the plateau de Saugué.

The welcome sign indicates the campsite, at 1100m altitude. 4 terraces dominate the valley offering an agreeable situation with a view of the Campbielh, the cirque de Gavarnie, the plateau de Coumély... what a choice of promising hikes. Les Tilleuls campsite is ideal for hillwalkers and nature lovers.

Description :
25 spaces for tents, camping cars and caravans.
Sanitary facilities : 5 wcs, 5 sinks, 4 showers, 3 washing sinks.
Communal room for groups. Animals accepted.
Telephone, shops and swimming pool in the village (summer), bobsleigh, icerink summer/winter.
All services and shops at Luz Saint Sauveur.

Close by :

The Cirques de Gavarnie, Troumouse and Estaubé. Le National Park with it's fauna and flora. The Vignemale from the Ossoue dam, the Bernatoire Lake.

The Mont Perdu from the cirque d'Estaubé passing the Gloriettes dam with the Tuquerouye corridor and the frozen lake or the Hourquette d'Alans dominating Gavarnie and the Vignemale faraway.
